Just before I undercoated the 5 penal legion troops, I realised there was something missing. I wanted them to be minimalistic in kit, as befits their lowly status, but even though I love the VL torsos the models didn't look that exciting. So I put some manacles on each arm with green stuff to make them a bit more interesting. If I was a better sculptor I would have tried to make the manacles have clasps, but I think that was beyond me! At a distance I think adding these will really help.
